1. The service
Authenti Social provides software for independent social networks. A managed subscription runs on an Authenti Social subdomain. A self-hosted engagement configures the standard platform on customer-controlled infrastructure under an agreed scope.
2. Accounts and authority
You must provide accurate information, protect credentials, and use the service lawfully. A person creating a customer network confirms that they are authorized to act for that organization or community. Network administrators control membership and must assign administrative access carefully.
3. Customer responsibilities
Customers are responsible for their member policies, invitations, moderation decisions, lawful basis for information processing, published privacy notices, content governance, and the actions of their administrators. Self-hosted customers are also responsible for their domain, server, database, email delivery, backups, updates, access controls, and ongoing maintenance unless a separate agreement says otherwise.
4. Content and ownership
Members and customers retain ownership of content they submit. They grant the service the limited permission needed to store, process, display, transmit, back up, and moderate that content as required to operate the requested network. Customers must have permission to upload logos, media, and other materials.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the service for unlawful activity, harassment, exploitation, impersonation, fraud, malware, credential theft, spam, unauthorized surveillance, intellectual-property infringement, or attempts to bypass access controls. Do not probe or disrupt networks you are not authorized to test.
6. Fees and scope
The standard managed price is $50 per month for each network. The standard self-hosted configuration price is $1,000 one time. Taxes, payment-provider fees where applicable, domains, hosting, ongoing maintenance, migrations, third-party services, and custom development may be separate. Final scope and pricing should be confirmed before payment.
7. Availability and changes
Features may be improved, corrected, or changed to maintain security and usefulness. Planned maintenance and circumstances outside reasonable control may affect availability. Material changes to a paid service should be communicated through the agreed customer channel.
8. Suspension and termination
Access may be limited or suspended for nonpayment, abuse, security risk, unlawful use, or material violation of these terms. Customers may stop a managed subscription under their agreed billing terms. Data export, retention, and deletion arrangements should be confirmed in the applicable order or service agreement.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided under the warranties expressly stated in an applicable agreement. To the extent permitted by law, implied warranties are disclaimed and liability is limited as specified in that agreement. Nothing here excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
